Diana L. Garren
Founder and President

Diana is the master business strategist of True Perceptions. She strategizes and oversees the True Perceptions team to ensure our clients achieve their goals, improve their business image, increase their productivity and significantly increase their bottom line. She does this by helping our clients assess, identify, define, strategize, develop and implement all pieces a business needs to succeed in today’s demanding marketplace and fast-changing world.

She provides necessary encouragement and accountability to our clients and helps them think through, strategize and develop their business from the inside out.

Diana has spent the last eight years talking to and studying the clients of the private investigator. She has accomplished this by conducting client satisfaction surveys for our clients. She knows what they are looking for in a private investigator, where they look when in need of a private investigator, and how they think when it comes to hiring and working with a private investigator. Combine this with over 26 years experience in business, marketing, and sales she knows the private investigator market, and what it takes for a private investigator to succeed within this market.

Diana has mastered the principles and practices of business development, perception and business management, image building, sales, marketing, customer service and presentation. She brings this expertise to every aspect of our clients’ business.

Serving and satisfying client after client, Diana has built a solid reputation as an intelligent, diligent, focused, business partner who assists our clients in building and implementing an internal structure and external business image that fosters growth, credibility and longevity. Our clients say she is able to keep their feet firmly grounded while helping them accomplish their vision.

Diana is known for her sincerity, no-nonsense approach, business knowledge and enthusiasm that inspires and guides our clients to create a consistent and reputable business model and image for their own company.

Diana has shared her expertise on the radio shows “Radio Investigator” and “To The Point” and the television shows “Atlanta Live” and “Working It Out”. She has been featured and quoted in numerous local and national trade journals, newspapers and business magazines including PI Magazine. Diana has been awarded the Business Women’s Rising Star Award, is the President of her homeowners association and is on the Ethics Committee for her city.

 

Stephen R. Walker
Chief Identity Officer

Stephen has been True Perceptions Chief Identity Officer since inception. He is the creative arm of our team. He is devoted to providing quality design work for our clients. He holds a Bachelors of Science Degree, from Florida State University and completed the design program at Portfolio Center. He has over 10 years experience in graphic design, art direction and Web development. He also owns his own design firm, S.R. Walker Designs and is a managing partner in another business venture.

Stephen has appeared on the Sandy Springs Radio Business Hour. He is a graduate of Leadership Sandy Springs, winner of the 2009 Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber’s Community Service Award, 2010 Chair of the 400 Club, a Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber young professionals initiative, board member of Heritage Sandy Springs, winner of the Heritage Sandy Springs 2008 Volunteer of the Year Award, and is an advisory board member of The Ahimsa House.

 

Terry O’Connor, PhD
Administrative Assistant/Customer Care

Terry has been behind the scenes since the conception of True Perceptions. She has been steadfast that we remain true to our goals and has been instrumental in our growth and success.  She always has the best interest of our clients in mind when we institute new pathways of growth.

Prior to True Perceptions, Terry received a PhD in Psychology from UCLA.  She was in private practice for 20 years before “retiring” to a less emotionally demanding job.  For the next 20 years, she was the National Sales and Marketing Manager for a large jewelry company.

Along with her administrative duties within True Perceptions, Terry interfaces with our clients to ensure that their name, brand and their “true perception” is maintained and that they are consistently in the minds of their clients in our new e-marketing division, E-novations.

 

Michelle Christensen
Writer/Editor

Michelle Christensen is a contributing writer to True Perceptions. She has been writing, ghostwriting, and editing for more than 15 years, receiving awards from the Las Vegas Review Journal for her writing. Working with newspapers, NY Times bestselling authors, law offices, schools, and businesses both large and small. She enjoys creating polished, proper, and finished works to distribute to private companies and the public alike.

Michelle is happily married, and is the mother of two boys, as well as one stepson, and one stepdaughter. In her spare time, she manages her company Red Ink Editing & Design, is PTA President, and enjoys fishing, knitting, and spending time with family and friends.

 

Sally Bacchetta
Writer/Editor

Sally Bacchetta is a contributing writer to True Perceptions. She holds a BS in psychology and is an award-winning writer and speaker with more than a decade of experience in corporate communications, magazine journalism, and medical writing. She is the author of What I Want My Adopted Child to Know: An Adoptive Parent's Perspective, and her articles have been published in national magazines and journals.
